    Pete S. Prado, Sr. died Monday, June 13 at the Converse County Memorial Hospital in Douglas following a long illness. He was the son of Cletus and Maria (Solorio) Prado. He was reared and educated in Mitchell, Morrill and Lyman, Nebraska. He came to Yoder, Wyoming from Morrill in 1933. He was married to Rosario Rodriguez in Sterling, Colorado on August 15, 1934 at the Saint Anthony Catholic Church. He received his mechanic's degree from Rosenkronz Institute of Los Angeles, Calif. in 1935. He lived in the Torrington area until 1963, then moved to Douglas where he farmed until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife of Douglas; six sons, Frank and Manuel of the family home, Pete Jr. and Albert of Douglas, and John and Paul of Gillette; three daughters, Mary Velasquez of Douglas, Linda Paulsen of Bismarck, N.D., and Loretta Williams of Biloxi, Miss.; 29 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.

    Pete married RODRIGUEZ, Rosario "Rosa" on 15 Aug 1934 in Saint Anthony Catholic Church - Sterling, Logan Co., Colorado. Rosario (daughter of RODRIGUEZ, Bartolo and VEGA, Ascencion) was born on 30 Aug 1919 in Mexico; died on 26 Mar 1994 in Douglas, Converse Co., Wyoming; was buried in Mar 1994 in Park Cemetery - Douglas, Converse Co., Wyoming.     Rosario (Rosa) Rodriguez Prado, 74, died March 26, 1994 at the Converse County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was the daughter of Bartolo and Sencion (Vega) Rodriguez. She was reared and educated in the Mitchell, Morrill and Lyman, Neb. area. She was married to Pete S. Prado, Sr. on August 15, 1934 in Sterling, Colorado at Saint Anthony Catholic Church. They lived in Torrington until 1963, when they moved to Douglas to begin farming. She is survived by six sons, John of Sheridan, Paul of Gillette, and Manuel, Albert, Pete Jr., and Frank, all of Douglas; three daughters, Linda Sweere of Watertown, S.D., Loretta Williams of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mary Velasquez of Douglas; two sisters, Lupe Prado of Torrington and Hope Gross of Douglas; four brothers, Tony Rodriguez of Riverton, Moses Rodriguez of Rockford, Ill., Fred Rodriguez of Torrington and Paul Rodriguez of Douglas; 29 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 13, 1988; two daughters; and two brothers.
