Text | HUGH P. O'CONNOR Hugh P. O'Connor, 75, a former Scottsbluff resident died Saturday at Tacoma, Wash. He was born Jan. 21, 1896, at Wisner, Neb., and came with his family to Scottsbluff in 1908. He served with the armed forces in Europe during World War I. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Bernard L. (Margaret) Kelly, Mrs. Charles (Mayme) Zoellner, both of Scottsbluff and Mrs. Merdith (Sadie) Lovitt of Lake Worth, Fla. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. Walter M. Phelan officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Benson Jolliffe Funeral Home. | |
