Text | MAYME ZOELLNER Mayme Zoellner, 84, of Scottsbluff died in a local hospital Monday evening. She was born May 23, 1887, in Wisner, Neb., where she grew up and attended school. She moved to Scottsbluff with her parents in 1908 and was married here Sept. 27, 1910, to Charles Zoellner. He was a pioneer merchant in this area and owned Zoellner's Clothing Store which opened in October of 1906. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Al (Dorothy) Williams Sr. of Scottsbluff; two sisters, Mrs. Meredith Lovitt of Lake Worth, Fla., and Mrs. Bernard (Margaret) Kelly of Scottsbluff, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Dugan Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Msgr. Thomas Siudowski officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Elks Crippled Childrens Fund and the Kennedy Opportunity Center. Dugan Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. | |
