Text | Mrs. Edna Burt Succumbs Tuesday-- Mrs. Edna B. Burt, 84, a resident of Dallas and former resident of Wichita Falls, died Tuesday in a Dallas Hospital. Services will be under direction of Owens-Brumley Funeral Home here. Mrs. Burt, born Nov 5, 1888 in Pennsylvania was a resident of Wichita Falls 20 years before moving to Dallas two years ago. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and was active in the Wesley Class, First United Methodist Church, Past Matron Faith O.E.S. Chapter No. 713, deputy officer for Eastern Star SEC. 6 O.E.S. of Texas and a daughter of the Nile. Survivors include a son, Harold of Irving; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Pastory of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Clara Kline of Longview; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. | |
