Text | SMITH HAROLD M. Born September 5, 1919 in Allen, Oklahoma and passed away June 27, 2001 in Irving, Texas. Preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Harold is survived by his wife of 32 years, Anita Smith; daughter and son-in-law; Jeri and Jim Kynion, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Dana Risinger; two daughters, Ellen Risinger and Sharon Collier; four grandchildren, Jeanne Roe, James Roberts, Charlie Collier, Cindy Hamrick; three great-grandchildren, and many friends. He was a longtime member of the Royal Rovers R.V. Club and Hillcrest Lodge #1318 of the A.F.& A.M. Also a veteran of WWII and Korea, serving in the Army Air Corps. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2001 at Restland Memorial Chapel, Rev. Mike Jewel officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2001 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1615 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75207 or American Diabetes Association, 12850 Spurling Road, Ste. 100, Dallas, Texas 75207. | |
