  Rosario (Rosa) Rodriguez Prado, 74, died March 26, 1994 at the Converse County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was the daughter of Bartolo and Sencion (Vega) Rodriguez. She was reared and educated in the Mitchell, Morrill and Lyman, Neb. area. She was married to Pete S. Prado, Sr. on August 15, 1934 in Sterling, Colorado at Saint Anthony Catholic Church. They lived in Torrington until 1963, when they moved to Douglas to begin farming. She is survived by six sons, John of Sheridan, Paul of Gillette, and Manuel, Albert, Pete Jr., and Frank, all of Douglas; three daughters, Linda Sweere of Watertown, S.D., Loretta Williams of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mary Velasquez of Douglas; two sisters, Lupe Prado of Torrington and Hope Gross of Douglas; four brothers, Tony Rodriguez of Riverton, Moses Rodriguez of Rockford, Ill., Fred Rodriguez of Torrington and Paul Rodriguez of Douglas; 29 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 13, 1988; two daughters; and two brothers.
