  [S40] Obituary: Rodney J. Hallford, The Arizona Republic, (Tuesday, February 09, 1965) (Reliability: 3). Rodney J. Hallford, 57, a mechanic who had won awards for suggestions during his employment the past 15 years at Litchfield Naval Air facility, died Sunday in his home at 2934 W. Hadley. Mr. Hallfor d moved to Gilbert in 1943. He was born in Meridian County, Miss. He was employed at Williams Air Force Base from 1942 to 1947, when he moved to Tempe. Since then, he had lived both in Tempe and Phoe nix. He was a member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge in Avondale. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. tomarrow in A.L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park . Friends may call at the mortuary after noon today. He is survived by his wife, Winnie L.; three daughters, Mrs. Ledora Bernard of Fremont, Calif., Mrs. Oletus F. Smith of Laredo, Tex., and Mrs. Ju lia A. Gracy of Long Beach, Calif.; three sons, Vaden J. of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., the Rev. Morris F. Hallford or Pickens, S.C., and Delbert of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Gibson of Fremont an d Juanice Williams of Hollister, Calif., and 10 grandchildren.
