Sixteen grandchildren and f our great grandchildren also survive. Services Wednesday, 10 o'clock, Brethren Church in Raisin City. Interment Washington Colony Cemetery. Lisle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

M.G. HALLFORD - Funeral services for Moses Gordon Hallford, 81, of Manteca, San Joaquin County, will be held tomarrow at 2 PM in the Brethren Church in Raisin City. Burial will follow in the Washingt on Colony Cemetery.
Hallford died Friday in a Stockton hospital where he had been a patient for four months. A native of Mississippi, he is a former Raisin City resident.
His survivors include two sons, Rodney of Phoenix, Ariz., and Albert of Manteca; twi daughters, Mrs. Juanita Gibson of Manteca, and Mrs. Juanice Williams of Hollister, Merced County; three sisters , Mrs. Lizzy Dansby and Mrs. Pinkey Riggs, both of Swenson, Tex., and Mrs. Carrie Patton of Cutler, Tulare County; a brother, Clayton of Irvington, Alameda County, 16 grandchildren, and four great-gra ndchildren.
The Lisle Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Military funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel of B. C. Wallace & Son from Bm 1/c Joseph Wayne Merrill, 21, killed in a motorcycle accident in Fresno Friday while he was e n route from New Orleans, La., to Treasure Island.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Merrill, 1727 S. Center, he came to Stockton with his parents in 1936. He resided in Quincy with his wife, Mrs. Juanice Merrill, from August, 1942, until he enliste d in the Navy in April 1943. A veteran of service in the South Pacific and Alaska theaters of war. He was a native of Hale, Mo.
He is also survived be two children, Carrie Lucille and Robert Clive Merrill of Stockton, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. H. L. Perry of Stockton, Mrs. Robert A. Ballard and Mrs. R. W . Huffman of Sacramento, Pfc. Ernest K. Merrill of Minneapolis, Minn., and Orville V. Merrill of San Francisco.
